Emilio is the Strategy Lead at Usaria, a strategic design and research consultancy, where he leads the development of new services and creates alliances with other organizations. He has a masters in Design Studies and a postgraduate in Futures Design. As a professor and researcher, Emilio has contributed to several research projects regarding accessibility, public policy, creative industries, food sustainability and speculative design.

How to Connect with Your Local Futures: A Case Study of Mexican Health Services
The future is contaminated with generic images where everything is global, hype-technological and chaotic. Emilio and Andrea will present a way to challenge those visions, harnessing local knowledge to explore hyper contextual future visions. Using a participatory foresight methodology, different stakeholders in the health ecosystem will participate to create visions of the plausible futures of health services in Mexico.
